The Vintage Market Merchant FAQ's
At this time there isn't a limit of spaces at The Vintage Market which will be held at the Chester Fairgrounds in Chester,CT
Outside single 12x12 $150 ($75 per day)
Outside double 12x24 $280 (save $20)
Inside space single 10x10 $190 ($95 per day)
Inside double 10x20 $380 (no discounts)
CAN I PARK BEHIND MY SPACE
Parking is not allowed behind your booth space
You may drive up to unload then move your vehicle to the designated parking area
IS SHARING OF SPACES ALLOWED
Yes, but no more than two merchants to a space and each must fill out a application separately
TIPS FOR BEING ACCEPTED
Have quality work & merchandise
Your booth must be well thought out, and displayed to get your customers attention. Make it inviting!
DO I NEED A TENT
Having a tent is required and must be heavily weighted down & staked to prevent dangerous mishaps.
TVM is not responsible for a tent that causes damage to others property or harm to others.
Weather is unpredictable!
Merchants are responsible for their own setups
This includes tables, chairs, table coverings if used, etc.
CAN I BRING MY PET/DOG?
Sorry, no pets are allowed per the Board of the Chester Fairgrounds.
WHAT IF IT RAINS
TVM is a rain or shine event
Plan to be outside in all kinds of weather as cancellations are very unlikely
DO I NEED A CT STATE SALES TAX #
Merchants selling products subject to sales tax are required to obtain a sales tax and use permit in CT
To obtain one go to : www.ct.gov/DRS
This is solely your responsibility
CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY
Your payment is your commitment to participate
No refunds will be given after May 1st 2022 no matter the reason
Please consider this before sending in your application
Friday 10 am to dusk
Saturday 7:30 am to 9:45 am (event starts at 10 am)
If you arrive late you'll be given a spot at my discretion
There is no set-up on Sunday
Sunday, the event is advertised to end at 3 pm
Please refrain from breaking down until then
Some of the best sales are at closing!
Please make sure your area is clear of any debris
Use trash cans and dumpster for larger broken down cardboard.
